The Intern

The Intern is half of Bit Pirate put on a single knob.

Originally I designed this for two reasons. Firstly I really enjoyed the idea of making a solid one-knob-pedal. And secondly I wanted to design a very simple PCB layout so that the intern I had at the time could solder it. Hence the name. I only ever made a handful of this and instead went on to create the "Pebble" design. Which is taking this pedal and fitting it in as small of an enclosure as possible, ironically making it probably my hardest PCB design to solder..
