Bit Pirate takes your input signal and splits it into four different voices running in parallel through CMOS technology.
Bit Pirate is my first solo attempt at experimenting with CMOS and guitar pedals.
I took all that I had learned with Fruits from Horseman and started going bananas with a breadboard and a bunch of chips.
The final result is not unlike what the legendary Bit Commander by Earthquaker Devices. But the road I take to end up with that result is not the same. But I decided to flirt with this when I came up with the name.
And sticking with the pirate ethos I also decided to make the design feel a bit scavanged by making every unit have it's individual set of knobs in the first design.
