Description
EXPSEQ is a sequencer expression pedal. Internally there are two vactrols (LED + LDR*) where the sequencer sets the brightness of the LEDs. The LDR is then connected straight to the expression jack and becomes your potentiometer of sorts.
So the expression signal is resistor based, not CV (just like classic expression pedals that requires no power).
*LDR is a type of light controlled resistor.
2. Controls:
BIG Jacks are expression outputs.
Small Jack is a 3.5mm CV clock source jack.
Toggle Switch turns EXPSEQ on/off.
Right (dotted) Knob sets the amount of steps from 1-8.
Left Knob + Footswitch:
The sequencer has two modes of operation, taken from my other sequencer pedals.
1: Tap Tempo Mode, where you set the sequencer tempo by either tapping on the footswitch or adjusting the speed knob (without the dots).
2: Manual Mode, where the sequencer is frozen and you move by either pressing the footswitch or connecting a 5V CV-Clock to the 3,5mm jack on the back.
To change between modes you simply press and hold the left footswitch for about 1-2 seconds.
